Plain English summary: EONS Animation Studio collects your contact info and project details when you reach out, and captures conversation data when you use our AI tool — all to help us follow up with potential clients and improve our services. We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising. We store it securely and you can request deletion at any time.
This Privacy Policy is published by Era of Novelty Studios LLC, operating as EONS Animation Studio ("EONS," "we," "us," or "our"). We are a New York City–based 3D animation and motion design studio.
This policy governs all data collected through:

- Our contact forms, email correspondence, and inquiry channels
- Any other digital touchpoints operated by EONS Animation Studio

Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways: information you provide directly to us, and information collected automatically through your use of our services.
Information You Provide Directly
- Contact form submissions — Your first name, last name, email address, company or brand name, package interest, and project description when you submit an inquiry through our website.
- EONS AI onboarding gate — Your name, email address, and company name (optional) when you register to access the EONS AI creative director tool at studio-ai.html.
- Concept submissions — Your name, email, brand name, and any supplemental notes you provide when you choose to submit an AI-generated concept to our studio team via the "Send to Studio" feature.
- Email correspondence — Any information you include when emailing us directly at eonstudioanimation@gmail.com.
- Client project data — During active projects, we may collect and process briefs, brand assets, reference materials, and communications necessary to deliver contracted services.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage analytics — We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about how visitors use our site, including pages visited, session duration, general geographic region (city/country level), device type, browser, and referral source. This does not identify you personally.
- AI conversation logs — When you use EONS AI, your conversation messages are transmitted through our Cloudflare Worker API proxy to the Anthropic Claude API. A copy of conversation transcripts may be stored locally in your browser's localStorage and, if you use "Send to Studio," transmitted to our team.
- Cookies and local storage — We use browser cookies and localStorage to remember your preferences (such as cookie consent status), maintain session continuity in the AI tool, and store conversation history locally on your device.
- Technical data — Standard server and CDN logs may capture your IP address, browser user agent, and timestamp of requests. This data is used for security and infrastructure purposes and is not linked to your personal identity in our systems.
We do not collect: payment card numbers or banking information (all payments are processed through third-party payment platforms), government-issued ID numbers, or sensitive personal categories such as health data, race, religion, or political affiliation.

Lead Generation & the EONS AI Tool
This section specifically addresses our lead generation activities and how the EONS AI tool captures and processes prospect information, as these are core business operations of EONS Animation Studio.
How Lead Data Is Captured
When a visitor accesses the EONS AI tool, they are required to provide their name, email address, and optionally their company name before the tool becomes active. This constitutes an explicit, affirmative act of data provision.
- Lead data (name, email, company, timestamp, conversation type) is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key
eons_leads. It is not automatically transmitted to an external server at the moment of capture.
- When you submit a concept via "Send to Studio," your lead data and conversation transcript are compiled and transmitted to EONS via our EmailJS integration and stored as a lead record.
- When you submit a contact form inquiry, your data is transmitted via EmailJS to our studio inbox and recorded internally as a lead.
- EONS may use lead contact information to follow up regarding your project inquiry, schedule a strategy call, or send a response to your submitted concept. We do not enroll you in automated marketing sequences without your explicit consent.
AI Conversation Data
- Your AI conversation messages are transmitted from your browser to our Cloudflare Worker proxy server (
eons-api-proxy.ryanruichen03.workers.dev), which then forwards them to the Anthropic Claude API.
- Cloudflare Workers process requests ephemerally — messages are not stored by the proxy beyond the duration of the API call.
- Anthropic may process conversation data per their own Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review it at anthropic.com/privacy.
- Conversation history is stored only in your browser's localStorage until you clear it. It does not leave your device unless you choose to submit a concept to our team.
- If you submit a concept, the full transcript is included in the submission and received by our team via email. This transcript is retained for business purposes as described in Section 8.
- You may clear your AI conversation history at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for eons.studio, or using the clear function within the tool.
Business purpose of lead generation: EONS Animation Studio is a boutique studio that uses the AI tool as a qualifying and educational resource to help potential clients develop project briefs before engaging our team. Lead data is used exclusively for client outreach, project scoping, and business development. We do not resell, rent, or license lead data to any third party.

How We Use Your Information
We use personal information only for the purposes described below. We will not use your data for any purpose incompatible with these stated uses without first notifying you.

We do not: sell your data to third parties, share your data for third-party advertising, use your data for profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal effects, or send unsolicited commercial emails without consent.

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data under the following legal bases as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable UK data protection laws:
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — Where you have actively provided information, submitted a form, or accepted cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Contract Performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — Where processing is necessary to fulfill a contract with you or take pre-contractual steps at your request (e.g., responding to a project inquiry or delivering animation services).
- Legal Obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — Where processing is required to comply with applicable law, such as financial record-keeping, tax obligations, or responding to lawful requests from authorities.
- Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — Where we have a legitimate business interest that is not overridden by your data protection rights, such as operating and improving our website, securing our infrastructure, or following up on a project inquiry you initiated.
For processing based on legitimate interests, we have assessed that our business interests are proportionate and do not override your fundamental rights, particularly given the nature of our services and the limited, purpose-specific scope of data collection.

Sharing & Third-Party Services
EONS Animation Studio does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Data collected is anonymized and aggregated. We use IP anonymization. You may opt out via browser extensions such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on, or by declining analytics cookies. Analytics data is processed by Google per their Privacy Policy.

EmailJS
Contact form submissions and AI concept submissions are transmitted through EmailJS to deliver your message to our team inbox. EmailJS processes the message content and your contact details transiently for delivery purposes. EmailJS does not store message content beyond delivery. Anthropic Claude API
Your messages in the EONS AI tool are processed by the Anthropic Claude API to generate AI responses. Messages are transmitted via our Cloudflare Worker proxy. Anthropic may process conversation data in accordance with their API usage policies. We do not use API-provided data for training purposes. Commercial API usage data handling may differ from consumer products.

Cloudflare
Our API proxy runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes network requests as part of providing infrastructure services and may log IP addresses and request metadata for security and performance purposes. Our DNS and CDN services also operate through Cloudflare.

Vimeo / YouTube
Portfolio and showreel videos are hosted on Vimeo or embedded from YouTube. When you view video content, these platforms may set cookies and collect viewer data per their own policies. Video embeds are loaded only when you interact with portfolio items to minimize passive data collection.

Calendly
If you schedule a strategy call through our booking link, you will be directed to Calendly. Calendly collects your name, email, and availability. Any data you provide during booking is governed by Calendly's Privacy Policy. EONS receives your booking details to prepare for and conduct the call.

Payment Processors (PayPal, Zelle, Stripe)
Payments for services are processed through PayPal, Zelle, and/or Stripe. EONS does not receive, store, or process your payment card details. Payment processors handle all financial data in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. We receive only transaction confirmation and the amount paid.
We may also disclose personal information where required by law, in response to valid legal process (subpoenas, court orders), to protect the rights and safety of EONS, our team, or others, or in connection with a business sale, merger, or acquisition — in which case the acquiring entity would be bound by this privacy policy or required to provide equivalent protections.

To manage cookies in your browser, visit your browser settings. For Google Analytics specifically, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Privacy-focused browser extensions such as uBlock Origin also provide granular control.
We do not use cross-site tracking, behavioral advertising cookies, or fingerprinting technologies.
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
- Contact form submissions and AI concept submissions — Retained in our internal records for up to 3 years from the date of submission, or until you request deletion. This retention supports business development tracking and potential future engagement.
- Active client project data — Retained for the duration of the project plus 7 years to comply with New York State business record-keeping requirements and applicable tax law (IRC §6001).
- Invoices and financial records — Retained for a minimum of 7 years as required by federal and state tax regulations.
- Analytics data — Google Analytics data is retained per our Google Analytics retention settings, currently set to 26 months.
- AI conversation data (localStorage) — Stored locally in your browser with no server-side expiration. You control deletion by clearing localStorage.
- Email correspondence — Retained in our business email system for as long as the business relationship is active and up to 3 years thereafter, unless deletion is requested.
- Server/CDN access logs — Retained for 30–90 days for security and infrastructure purposes, then automatically deleted.
When data is no longer required for its stated purpose, we will delete or anonymize it in a commercially reasonable timeframe. To request earlier deletion, see Section 10.
EONS Animation Studio implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
- Our website is served over HTTPS/TLS (enforced via Cloudflare), encrypting data in transit between your browser and our servers.
- API communications between the EONS AI tool and Anthropic are transmitted over encrypted connections via our Cloudflare Worker proxy.
- Dashboard access is protected by a SHA-256 hashed password with rate limiting, lockout after repeated failed attempts, and session token protection against replay attacks.
- AI conversation data is stored client-side in browser localStorage, meaning it does not transit our servers unless you explicitly submit a concept.
- We limit access to personal data within our organization to personnel who require it to perform their role.
- We do not store payment card data — all payment processing is handled by PCI-compliant third-party processors.
Important limitation: No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we take data security seriously and apply reasonable safeguards, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
If you discover a potential security vulnerability affecting our services, please report it to eonstudioanimation@gmail.com.

- Unsubscribe from communications — Reply "unsubscribe" to any email from us and we will remove you from our outreach list.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy rights.
EONS Animation Studio's services are directed at businesses and marketing professionals and are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a person under 18, please contact us immediately at eonstudioanimation@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
Our AI tool's terms of access include a representation that users are at least 18 years of age and authorized to conduct business on behalf of their organization.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
- Right to Know — You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you in the past 12 months, the categories of sources, the business purpose for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete — You may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to applicable exceptions.
- Right to Correct — You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing — We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. This right does not apply to our current data practices, but we are committed to maintaining this standard.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information — We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by CPRA (e.g., government IDs, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, health information, racial/ethnic origin).
- Non-Discrimination — We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

International Data Transfers
EONS Animation Studio is based in New York City, United States. If you are accessing our services from outside the United States — including from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions — your personal information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
The United States may not offer the same level of data protection as your home jurisdiction. By using our services, you acknowledge this transfer. We rely on the following mechanisms for international transfers:
